elle tourne
for 20 years i've kept a travel diary of notes, sketches, quotations and dreams. A selection of these diaries was presented at ETE78 alongside the photographies of joseph hogan/charroy who's also my lover. He edited "88 days", bringing together our texts, photos and drawings produced during the 88-day period between our first meeting with the founder of ETE78 and the first exhibition's day. "elle tourne" refers to the light which varies in tune with the rotation of our planet.
For the ending I wrote a performance for theremin and spoken word dedicated to Katarina Kepler who has been accused of witchcraft because of the original astronomic research of her son.
Drawing with light / drawing with sound, were our personal contribution to the brussels drawing week 2021 in which this proposal took part.
